Italian pizza recipes for Ziipa oven

On July 10th we celebrate one of the kids' and adults' favorite foods! This day marks the World Pizza Day and is the perfect excuse to taste this Italian delicacy that has conquered the palate of people all over the world.

And the best of all? You don't have to go out to celebrate this day, since Ziipa's pizza ovens are compact and portable, and therefore ideal for making tasty homemade pizzas.

A good pizza is a pizza with the right ingredients and cooked to perfection! Thanks to the integrated thermometer in Ziipa ovens, you can easily monitor the temperature of your oven. It takes about 15 minutes to get the right baking temperature: 400 ºC (752 ºF). As for fuel, these ovens can be supplied with wood, briquettes or pellets.

RECIPES

Homemade pizza dough (2 servings)

Ingredients:

300g of wheat flour

1 teaspoon of dry biological yeast

1 teaspoon of salt

180 ml of warm water

1 tbsp of olive oil

 

Method of preparation:

In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast and salt. Add the warm water and the olive oil. Mix well until it forms a homogeneous dough. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead the dough for 5-7 minutes. The dough should become elastic and soft.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size. Then divide it into two equal parts. On a floured surface, open one part of the dough with a rolling pin, forming a circle approximately 30 cm in diameter, and place the dough on the stone. It is ready to be filled with your favorite ingredients!

Pizza Margherita

Ingredients:

Pizza dough

½ cup tomato sauce

125g buffalo mozzarella cheese

1 large tomato

Fresh basil leaves

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil

 

Method of preparation:

Turn on the oven 15 minutes in advance. 

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pasta, add the cheese in pieces or slices and the thinly sliced fresh tomato. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake the pizza in the Ziipa oven for 1 minute, or until the dough is golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and finish with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve and enjoy this classic Italian pizza!

Pepperoni Pizza

Ingredients:

Pizza dough

75g of grated mozzarella cheese

50g of sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup of tomato sauce

1/2 of a green bell pepper

1 small onion

Oregano to taste

Olive oil

 

Method of preparation:

Turn on the oven 15 minutes in advance. 

Spread the tomato sauce over the pasta, leaving a border of approximately 2 cm. Sprinkle the cheese, the green bell pepper and the onion cut into julienne strips. Arrange the pepperoni slices on top and add oregano to taste. Drizzle with a dash of olive oil and bake in the oven for about a minute. Enjoy your meal!

Four-cheese pizza (Quattro Formaggi)

Ingredients:

Pizza dough

75g of grated mozzarella cheese

50g of crumbled Gorgonzola cheese

50g of grated Parmesan cheese

50g of grated provolone cheese

1/2 cup of tomato sauce

Oregano to taste

Olive oil

 

Method of preparation:

Turn on the oven 15 minutes in advance. 

Spread the tomato pulp, the cheese and oregano to taste. Drizzle with a dash of olive oil and bake in the Ziipa oven for 1 minute. It's ready!


Four Seasons Pizza (Quattro Stagioni)

Ingredients:

Pizza dough

1/2 cup of tomato sauce

75g of grated mozzarella cheese

3 pickled artichokes

50g of sliced ham

50g of sliced mushrooms

6 pitted black olives

Olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation:

Turn on the oven 15 minutes in advance. 

Spread the tomato sauce over the dough. Divide the pizza into four sections. In one of the sections, spread the grated mozzarella cheese. In the second section, place the pickled artichokes, cut into quarters. In the third section, lay out the ham slices and finally, in the fourth section, place the sliced mushrooms. Spread the olives cut in half all over the pizza. Drizzle each section with a bit of olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the pizza in the oven for about 1 minute. Serve the pizza hot and enjoy!

Diavola Pizza

Ingredients:

Pizza dough

½ cup of tomato sauce

75g of grated mozzarella cheese

50g of spiced salami

1 teaspoon of Calabrian pepper (optional)

Olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation:

Turn on the oven 15 minutes in advance. 

Spread the tomato sauce over the pasta. Then spread the grated mozzarella cheese and distribute the spicy salami slices over the cheese. Sprinkle the Calabrian pepper on top if you wish a spicier pizza. Drizzle with a dash of olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake the pizza for about 1 minute, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Enjoy your pizza!
