The Art Time wall clock returns all the vitality, lightness and joy of graphic signs and color. Round clock with important dimensions, diameter of 60 cm, which adds to its primary function, that of telling us what time it is, a strongly decorative role, as if it were a painting. The clock is designed by David Gerstein: Israeli painter, sculptor, draftsman and engraver.In the ‘70s, Gerstein set out to create art that would talk to the art world while still being comprehensible to the man in the street. His daring use of colour derives from his wish to 'copy nature'. Gerstein has explained that just as in nature a brightly coloured fruit or flower attracts insects, he wants his work to be attractive to the observer, and this philosophy is clearly to the fore in the two clocks created for Guzzini.
