10 New Year’s Resolutions - 2021

Write on the first page of your new book, and remember that, this year, you have an extra page to fill out. Finish this cycle and create new unforgettable moments.
Be grateful for the lessons you’ve learned this past year, leave the negative thoughts in 2020 and welcome 2021 with open arms. Get inspired, fall in love (again!) and live each moment intensely! 

Don’t know where to start? The New Year won’t be different if your routines are the same. Take a look at our 10 new year’s suggestions for 2021 and keep the things that are good for you.

1. Keep good friends close!

Participate more actively in your group of friends' in the Whatsapp! Talk in a group with the people most important to you, such as your family and friends. Group conversations allow you to share messages, photos and videos. Despite the distance, be sure to share the good times.

2. Make time for yourself

The time we spend on ourselves will reflect on the way we treat the people around us. Know the value of your inner peace, get to know yourself and achieve your own peacefulness. A trip to the beach with your favourite book, a nice walk along the shore, a trip to Europe or even some meditation exercises – these are examples of activities that will help you relax and appreciate life with a different view.

3. Learn a new hobby

Be fearless! Try new extreme sports activities that always cause a stir on you. Take the dust out of that old guitar you have and find out the musician in you. Became a languages expert and learn a new idiom! And who knows…maybe you have a propensity to be a MasterChef! It’s never too late to reinvent yourself and experience new talents!

4. Travel more. Plan your vacations in advance

As soon as we are allowed to travel, whether alone, with family, or with some friends, replace your everyday routine for itineraries and road maps and meet new cities and cultures. Book your trips in advance, take advantage of the low season prices and don’t forget… when you travel, you collect memories that make you richer.

5. Know when to go offline

We live in the digital age, and it’s unquestionable the impact that social media have on our lives today. Do not prioritize the virtual world, to the detriment of your personal and real life. The most special moments are those we spend offline, live the family more!

6. Learn how to manage your time

Prioritize the most important tasks of your day. Plan your workday and focus on one task at a time. For instance, prepare your meals for the whole week on Sundays and pack your lunch in advance – this way you can enjoy your week with less stress!

7. Be more sympathetic with those around you

Put yourself in someone else’s position more often, seeking to understand what they think. Show sympathy for the causes you believe in – either social or environment – do for others what you would like them to do for you. Small gestures on your daily basis like a compliment, a message or a phone call to a friend, can make a huge difference in someone's day or life.

8. Apologize and learn how to forgive

Just as important as apologizing, is know how to assume what you did wrong. Put the pride aside, learn when to take the first step and acknowledge your mistakes. Take your time to process things and understand that each person reacts differently to the same situations. Learn to forgive yourself, and most importantly, learn to forgive others. Became a more understanding person and remember that life is too short to be upset with those who are dearest to us.

9. Cook a new recipe every month

Try new flavours and enjoy the best of contemporary cuisine! Dive into unlikely combination recipes and surprise your family and friends with new and delicious recipes.

10. And of course… we could not miss out on being healthier!

Reduce your bad habits. In case you’re a smoker, make 2021 the year you quit smoking. Eliminate your wrong eating habits, start to eat healthily, cut down on candy, on alcoholic drinks, enjoy what nature has to give you and practice some outdoor sports. Be aware of the healthy recipes we’ll share with you over the year.
