Have you ever heard of Cake Pops? These round dumplings of varied flavors attached to sticks resemble lollipops, are great to make with the kids, and add a fun touch to any party!

Coconut and Ginger Cake Pops
Ingredients:
- 80 g of natural yoghurt
- 40 g of olive oil
- 70 g of sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- 95 g of flour
- 35 g of shredded coconut
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
For the icing:
- 270 g of chocolate
- 30 g cream
- 90 g of butter
- Grated coconut
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven at 375 F/190°C.
- Using a whisk, beat the yoghurt in a bowl with the oil, sugar and egg.
- Add the sifted flour with the baking powder, coconut and ginger and beat until the mixture is smooth.
- Using the Decomax, fill the semi-spheres of the base of the mould to the brim and put on the lid.
- Bake the Cake Pops in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 375 F/190°C until they have risen.
- Remove from the oven, leave to cool for a few minutes before removing from the mould.
- Insert the sticks into each Cake Pop.
- To coat, melt the chocolate with the butter and cream in a bain-marie.
- Carefully coat the Cake Pops in the chocolate glaze, remove any excess glaze, place them in the holes of the lid and leave them to dry in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Decorate with the shredded coconut.
- Serve the Cake Pops still on the sticks or change them to paper cups (as shown in the image below).
Carrot and White Chocolate Cake Pops
Ingredients:
- 50 g of butter
- 90 g of carrot
- 75 g of brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- 120 g of flour
For the icing:
- 250 g of white chocolate
- 50 g of cream
- 60 g of butter
- A few drops of red and yellow food coloring (optional)
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven at 375°F (190°C).
- Melt the butter in the microwave and add the carrot, sugar and egg.
- Blend the mixture with a whisk.
- Add the sifted flour with the baking powder and beat until the mixture is smooth.
- Using the Decomax, fill the semi-spheres of the base of the mould to the brim and put on the lid.
- Bake the Cake Pops in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 375°F (190°C) until they have risen.
- Remove from the oven, leave to cool for a few minutes before removing from the mould.
- Insert the sticks into each Cake Pop.
- To coat, melt the chocolate with the butter and cream in a bain-marie.
- Add the colouring.
- Carefully coat the Cake Pops in the white chocolate glaze, remove any excess glaze, place them in the holes of the lid and leave them to dry in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Serve them on chopsticks or change them to paper cups.
Coffee and Mascarpone Cake Pops
Ingredients:
- 50 g of butter
- 55 ml of milk
- 75 g of brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 yolk
- 1 ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- 130 g of flour
- 5 g of soluble coffee
For the icing:
- 250 g of mascarpone cheese
- 40 g of sugar
- Cocoa powder
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven at 375 F / 190°C.
- Melt the butter in the microwave, add the milk, sugar, egg and yolk and whisk.
- Add the sifted flour with the baking powder and coffee and beat until the mixture is smooth.
- Using the Decomax, fill the semi-spheres of the base of the mould to the brim and put on the lid.
- Bake the Cake Pops in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 375 F / 190°C until they have risen.
- Remove from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes before removing from the mould.
- Insert the sticks into each Cake Pop.
- To coat, heat up the cheese with the sugar in a bain-marie and gently stir until it has more of a liquid consistency.
- Carefully coat the Cake Pops in the mascarpone glaze, remove any excess glaze, place them in the holes of the lid and leave to dry in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle it with cocoa powder.
- Serve the Cake Pops still on the chopsticks or change them to paper cups.
