The Brand Story

In the late 1960s, Ehrenreich gave free rein to his imagination and developed the first prototypes of the Birdie, Bimble and Bumble figures in his workshop "Ehrenreichs Trækunst". Completely in the spirit of the time, it was the strong colors and the harmonious, and round shapes that characterized the first bouncy figures.
At this time, Bimble looked like an optimistic female with smiling eyes, and Bumble was an optimistic male with attentive eyes and a small top hat on top of his head. After all these years, their bodies still have the same energy, speed, and the same "look".
Today, the design developed is based on the framework created by Ehrenreich: drawing the Hoptimist figures from a circle and an ellipse. This idea remains underlying both the classic figures and the new generation.
In 2009, the brand relaunched itself on the market, and since then it has been delighting kids and adults alike, not only in Denmark, but all over the world!
