Do you know any fruit that tastes more like summer than strawberries? That’s why we would like to share with you this recipe to-die-for, super fresh, and obviously, full of strawberries. Fans of semifreddo pay attention, the king of summer just arrived!
To the base:
Grind the biscuits then pour over the melted butter. Mix thoroughly until the crumbs are completely coated. Place the dough into the springform and press firmly down into the base to create an even layer. Chill in the fridge.
For our semifreddo second layer, blend 6/7 strawberries until smooth and place over the base. Reserve in the cold while preparing the next layer.
For the third layer we need:
In a bowl whip the cream until stiff and add the condensed milk. Then soak the gelatin sheets and when they are soft, remove the water and melt them in the microwave. Add them to the cream and condensed milk and mix everything again. Place over the remaining layers and leave in the cold for approximately 2 hours.
To the last layer we need:
Make the strawberry gelatin according to the package instructions. Cut the strawberries into pieces and decorate the semifreddo over the previous layer. When the gelatin is ready, put it on as a last layer and put it back in the cold for about 3h/4h, until all the layers have completely solidified.
Tip: let the gelatin cool slightly before placing it over the previous layers.
To make this recipe it is essential to have a Springform to easily unmold the semifreddo and serve with good aspect. Thus, we suggest Lékué Springform with ceramic Plate with some different shapes and sizes.
