Step 2: Start preparing the pot you’ll useEvery fondue has one thing in common: the way you cook it - boiled, slowly fried or melted. To warm the pot you can use liquid alcohol - this process occurs in a pan or casserole dish, where it’s placed over a heat source and later served on the table.
Step 3: Buy the necessary ingredientsTo cook cheese fondue, you can use two different techniques: prepare it with emmental and gruyère cheese, or use previous prepared packs.
Therefore, and considering the first option, gather the following ingredients:
•
200g of emmental cheese;
•
300g of gruyère cheese;
•
150ml of white wine;
•
1 garlic clove (check out our garlic grater);•

Step 4: Preparation1.
Cut the garlic clove in half and rub it in the bottle of the pot you’re using to cook the fondue.
2. After lighting the fire, pour the white wine, let it to heat, but be careful not to boil it! As soon as the first bubbles rise, add the grated cheese and stir it with a
spatula until the cheese forms a smooth and creamy mixture.
Keep in mind that you should stir the mixture at all times and in low heat.3.
Finish by seasoning it with salt and pepper, but be careful to keep it in low heat. In case you feel the mixture is not as smooth as you wish, add a little more wine to reduce the volume.
