Veggie burgers are healthy and delicious and also excellent options that will make the delights of the little ones. They're easy to cook, and you can use different vegetables that are spoiling in the fridge, for example. If you don't have some of the ingredients we recommend or don't like any of them, you can replace them with another one that suits your preferences. We also suggest making a burger sauce to make the meal healthier.
For the burgers you'll need:
For the sauce:
Preparation:
Start by chopping the mushrooms and the onion and then sauté the mushrooms in a frying pan (not sticky). You don't need to add fat, but if you want, you can put only a thread of olive oil. Add the garlic and let it sauté. When the mushrooms start to shrink in size, add the onion until it goes soft. In the meantime, grind the carrot, broccoli and beans, add to the mushroom’s mixture, stir well, add the spices and turn off the heat. Reserve it in the fridge for a few hours. You can use it to make the avocado sauce, wash the lettuce and cut the tomato.
For the sauce, remove the avocado substance with a spoon and crush it well. Add the lemon juice, a pinch of salt and the black pepper and mix everything well.
When the burgers are completely cold, add the breadcrumbs and wrap everything until it's consistent
Make small balls with the mixture and put them in our burger moulds to obtain the ideal shape.
Place the burgers on a baking tray and bake for about 30 minutes at 180º. Turn the burgers over at 15 minutes.
If you prefer, you can also make the hamburger bread, with the help of hamburger buns moulds, which make everything simpler!
When they are ready, you just need to put the bread, then the burger, a slice of cheese, the sauce, the lettuce, the tomato and another slice of bread and serve! You can serve it with chips, preferably sweet potatoes.
Enjoy yourself and get the kids to love eating vegetables!
