Eco-Mask: reusable and durable protective mask

It appeared in our society quickly, quietly and without need for any introductions. Covid19 brings abrupt changes in our everyday lives, and with it, new hygiene and safety measures.

The use of protective masks is one of the measures taken worldwide and additional action to social distancing and hand and respiratory hygiene. In Portugal, the use of masks is mandatory for all people who:

• remain or access to enclosed spaces with several people:
• commercial and service shops
  
• o customer services buildings
• educational institutions and day-care centers
• use public transport

Now that we are gradually returning to our "regular life", the concern arises to ensure that the personal protective equipment is well adjusted to our routines.

"OnTheGo Protection" is a line of unisex protection masks - Eco Masks - reusable, ecological, made with an innovative plastic material, antibacterial, antiviral, capable of drastically reducing the viral and bacterial load, preventing the proliferation of viruses and bacteria and minimizing the danger of contamination. By being reusable, they also play an important role in environmental protection, being an excellent alternative to reusable protective masks.

With an innovative design, the Guzzini Eco Masks are made of a waterproof multilayer, easily replaceable, high-performance filter (filtration power > = 95%) and can be used for one labor day (8 hours). The masks are very lightweight (they only weigh 45gr) and you can use them with elastic tapes (in medical biocompatible thermoplastic rubber), attached to the head or ears.

Guzzini Eco Masks have an anatomical shape and a soft seal. They're made in medical biocompatible thermoplastic rubber, so they can fit all facial shapes, with a level of comfort that allows them to be used for hours, without itching, redness, marks on the skin, etc. Glasses and contact lens users will also be able to benefit from its use, since these equipment have an anti-fog system.

One of the great advantages of this line is undoubtedly its capacity for hygiene and reuse. Eco Masks can be reused indefinitely, thanks to their durable, high quality, easily sterilised plastics and the fact that the (non-washable) filter is easily removed and replaced (sold separately).

Eco Masks can be cleaned:

1. by hand, in hot water, with normal detergent and sanitation of all parts, inside and out, just gently cleaning with a damp cloth soaked in a disinfectant solution;
2. in the dishwasher, with a 70º cleaning program;
3. in the microwave, with a steam sterilization bag, for 3 min - 800/900 W*;
4. cool wash, with liquid or effervescent disinfectants*;

Eco-Mask is certified as a medical device Class I - Type 1, according to EN 14683 – ISO 10993 (EU Regulation n.º 745/2017), and CE marking.

Eco-Masks are made in Italy, in a properly sanitized production site, free from germs and sources of contamination, with the highest quality standards.
