Spring is in the air!! Were you as anxious for this time of year as we?
Spring is synonymous with bigger and sunnier days, which make us want to enjoy life outdoors. However, even though there is already some hope, we still need to restrain ourselves a bit on our exits, in the certainty that better days will come.
To get around the situation, in this article, we will give you suggestions of great activities to do outdoors, but without leaving your garden or balcony, so you can enjoy this season in the best way possible!
Picnic
Use your picnic set and enjoy your home garden! On a sunny Sunday morning, prepare a different breakfast for the family, worthy of a 5-star hotel, with products that you do not consume daily. If you have children, they will love it!!
If you prefer, you can always make a light, simple and fresh lunch (see our recipe ideas here and here) or, on the other hand, a tasty barbecue!

Play with the children
Unfortunately, we have been in a situation that forces us to stay as long as possible within 4 walls. This situation causes children to lose their normal journey of learning to live in society and freedom.
Also, the lack of exposure to sunlight, controlled and moderate, can bring future health problems such as, for example, lack of vitamin D, essential for the correct absorption of calcium and consequently for the growth of children.
To try getting around the situation, if, for example, you have a garden or a balcony (safe!) you must encourage your child to play in that outdoor space, but beware of the hottest hours (between 11 am and 5 pm)!
You can take advantage of these moments to do activities together that encourage learning, but in a fun and light way, or just play. This quality time, without technologies or distractions, is essential to reinforce the bonds between parent and child. Do not waste it!
Yoga/workout
As soon as you wake up, take a few minutes to enjoy the morning breeze while practicing yoga in your garden/balcony, so you are ready to face another day! Did you know that this practice has numerous advantages? Find out more here.
Besides, after a busy day of work, nothing better than doing a workout session to release energy and decompress! Take advantage of the time change to be able to do it in your garden/balcony, with the rest of the sun still peeking out. Believe us, you will like it much better this way! If you have a small balcony, you can choose to make just a corner of aromatic herbs (such as basil, coriander, chives, ...) with the help of vases.
